Nuneaton and Bedworth Leisure Trust is delighted to announce plans to relocate from its current Empire premises on Leicester Road and redevelop its Wheat Street property into a modern new gym facility.
The Wheat Street site will already be familiar to many existing members, having served for many years as the car park for the current gym. The location also previously housed the company’s successful “Performance Gym” operation. The continued use of the existing car park for gym customers means there is expected to be no significant additional impact on local residents or surrounding parking arrangements.
The redevelopment will transform the former builders’ merchant premises into a contemporary health and fitness destination designed to meet the growing demand for high quality fitness and wellness facilities in the area.
The new gym will feature:
Three specialist studios dedicated to Reformer Pilates, Spin Cycling and HYROX training
A varied programme of additional studio based fitness classes
A spacious two-floor gym layout with modern training equipment
A striking curtain-wall glass frontage replacing the existing loading bay doors
Dedicated recovery and wellness facilities including two infrared saunas and recovery equipment such as massage guns
The lower floor will provide a bright, open and welcoming training environment, while the first-floor gym area will overlook the main exercise space, creating an innovative and motivating atmosphere for members.
The development reflects the company’s long-term commitment to investing in high-quality fitness facilities while continuing to support the local community and its loyal membership base.
We wish to thank our Customers for their support over the last few uncertain years.
