Teaching Assistant Alternative Provision of Education (APE)​​

 

Term Time Only
Fixed Term Contract

​

Due to increased demand for our services we are seeking to appoint motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our successful Youth, Community & Schools Team.

​

Your main role will be to supervise, mentor and motivate students to achieve their full potential, ensuring effective delivery of qualifications, marking, internal moderation and all administration duties surrounding APE Students. You will also help to grow NBLT’s APE services within schools, number of students and subjects as well as assisting the wider Youth, Community and Schools when needed.

​

Experience working with young people aged 7 – 16 is desirable. 

​

Cleaner (Part Time 4 Hours Per Week) Empire Gym & Studio's

​

An opportunity has arisen to appoint a highly motivated, flexible individual to play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness at Empire Gym & Studios.

​

Main duties will include cleaning, maintenance and preparation of all areas, ensuring adequate supply of disposable utilities, safe deployment and use of cleaning products and chemicals, maintaining high standards and ensuring excellent customer service.

​

You will be required to work on your own initiative.  Experience of cleaning large areas to a high standard is essential, as is the use of chemicals and a working knowledge of COSHH.

​

Cook (Full Time 37 Hours) Bermuda Adventure Soft Play World

​

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic & motivated individuals to play an essential role in the operation of Bermuda Adventure Soft Play World and Bermuda Park Nursery.

 

The successful candidate will have accountability for all kitchen operations and will be expected to work within a small but dedicated team in a busy kitchen environment. 

 

Duties will include the preparation and cooking of hot and cold meals for both Bermuda Soft Play and Bermuda Park Nursery.

 

Applicants will have a good level of initiative and be a committed, well organised member of the team with excellent communication skills.  This position requires a high standard of health and safety awareness within a kitchen. A certificate in Food Hygiene is essential.

 

Applicants must be able to work under their own initiative and as part of a team and be flexible to work days and weekends.

Sports Coach / Alternative Provision of Education (APE) Teaching Assistant

 

Due to increased demand for our services we are seeking to appoint motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our successful Youth, Community & Schools Team.

 

Your working week will be split between Sports Coaching and Alternative Provision of Education, therefore flexibility is essential.

 

As an APE TA you will supervise, mentor and motivate students to achieve their full potential, ensuring effective delivery of qualifications, marking, internal moderation and all administration duties surrounding APE Students. You will also help to grow NBLT’s APE services within schools, number of students and subjects as well as assisting the wider Youth, Community and Schools when needed.

 

As a Sports Coach you will plan, deliver and evaluate high quality sport specific coaching sessions or play activities across Nuneaton, Bedworth and surrounding areas to increase the number of young people participating in activities at before and after school and school holidays with potential progression onto delivering in targeted schools and communities.

 

An NGB Level 2 coaching qualification or equivalent is essential for these roles. As is a recognised Good Practice & Child Protection Certificate and a current First Aid qualification.

In addition, experience working with young people aged 7 – 16 is desirable.

Kitchen Manager (Average of 37 hours per week)

 

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic & motivated individual to play an essential role in the operation of Bermuda Adventure Soft Play World and Bermuda Park Nursery.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible in regards to all aspects of the kitchen, servery and food storage.  You will have full accountability to lead, develop and inspire the kitchen and servery team for all kitchen operations and will be expected to manage a small but dedicated team in a busy kitchen environment.  Duties will include the preparation and cooking of hot and cold meals for both Bermuda Soft Play and Bermuda Park Nursery.

 

Applicants will have a good level of initiative and be a committed, well organised member of the team with excellent communication skills.  This position requires a high standard of health and safety awareness within a kitchen. A certificate in Food Hygiene is essential.

Nursery Nurse

 

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join NBLT’s experienced Nursery team at Bermuda Park Nursery.


Ideally, you will have a proven track record of achieving excellent standards and excellent levels of childcare and early years learning in a medium to large private day nursery.


You will have hands-on experience in daily nursery operations. If you are passionate about working with children, supporting a team, and are committed to achieving outstanding practice, then this could be the job for you.

A minimum of an NVQ Level 2 in childcare or equivalent is essential.


Part-time and full-time hours are available ranging from 25 to 37 hours per week.
