APE Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join NBLT as an Alternative Provision of Education (APE) Manager.
Your main duties will involve:

Managing the development and operation of all APE activities.
Managing the financial performance of APE, with a focus to increase the number of young people accessing the service.

Manage, coordinate, supervise, and mentor Sports Coaches / APE tutors on Alternative Provision of Education across the county.

Manage the premises, including any maintenance and continuously collaborate with the manager of the YCST team to ensure a consistent approach is taken at all times.
Work as part of the Management Team in the development, implementation, and success of NBLT’s strategic plans.

An NGB Level 3 qualification or equivalent and 2 years experience managing an Alternative Provision of Education team are essential for this role. As is a recognised Designated Safeguarding Lead qualification and a current First Aid qualification.

Apprentice Nursery Nurse

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join NBLT’s experienced Nursery team at Bermuda Park Nursery.
You will gain hands-on experience in daily nursery operations. If you are passionate about working with children, supporting a team, and embarking on a career working in Early Years whilst gaining a nationally recognised qualification then this apprenticeship is for you.

You will work towards an NVQ Level 2 & 3 in childcare.

LM Playcare Assistant

Term time only

We are looking for exceptional individuals with a proven track record of achieving and maintaining excellent standards of child care at our LM Playcare Before and After School Club held at Our Lady and St Joesphs Academy and Goodyers End Primary.

This role demands knowledge and responsibility to plan, organise and participate in activities for children aged 4 to 11 years old. To work as a team member ensuring that children are kept safe, stimulated, and engaged in fun learning activities.

An NVQ Level 2 in childcare or equivalent is essential for this role.

A recognised Good Practice & Child Protection Certificate and a Paediatric First Aid certificate are desirable for the role.

Sports Coach

Sports Coach - An NGB Level 2 or equivalent is essential

Relief Sports Coach – An NGB Level 2 or equivalent is essential

Due to increased demand for our services, we are seeking to appoint motivated and enthusiastic individuals with a passion for sport and play activities to join our successful Youth, Community & Schools Team.

Your main role will be to plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality sport-specific coaching sessions or play activities across Nuneaton, Bedworth, and surrounding areas, aimed at increasing the number of young people participating in activities. These sessions will take place during the school day and before and after school. Additionally, there will be opportunities to deliver sessions during the school holidays. However, term-time-only positions are available for the right candidate.

An NGB Level 2 coaching qualification or equivalent is essential for these roles. As is a recognised Good Practice & Child Protection Certificate and a current First Aid qualification.
