LM Playcare Assistant

Term time only

We are looking for an exceptional individuals with a proven track record of achieving and maintaining excellent standards of child care at our LM Playcare Before and After School club held at Our Lady and St Josephs Academy.

This role demands knowledge and responsibility to plan, organise and participate in activities for children aged 4 to 11 years old. To work as a team member ensuring that children are kept safe, stimulated and engaged in fun learning activities.

An NVQ Level 2 in childcare or equivalent is essential for this role.
A recognised Good Practice & Child Protection Certificate and a Paediatric First Aid certificate are desirable for the role.

LM Playcare Supervisor

We are looking for an exceptional individual with a proven track record of achieving and maintaining excellent standards of child care at our LM Playcare Before and After School club.

This role demands knowledge and responsibility to plan, organise and participate in activities for children aged 4 to 11 years old. To work as a team member ensuring that children are safely involved in stimulating activities.

You will have experience of supervising this type of setting or similar, managing finances and administration, also supporting and performance management of the team involved within it. A Paediatric First aid qualification and an NVQ Level 3 in childcare or equivalent is essential.

A recognised Good Practice & Child Protection Certificate are essential for the role.

Relief Sports Coach

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for sport and play activities to join our successful Youth, Community & Schools Team.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Responsible for the planning of fun, structured coaching sessions as appropriate to the participants.
- Developing structured lesson plans to submit termly to the Senior Sports Coach
- Deliver all sessions/activities in a safe environment with due regard to health and safety recommendations
- To instruct, coach or teach as outlined through training courses, circulars and information supplied, by the appropriate National Governing Body, Association or Organisation
- To demonstrate knowledge and reporting of accident, incident and emergency procedures & the NBLT’s Safeguarding policy
- Administrative tasks including the handling of monies, monitoring forms and risk assessments

Applicant Requirements:
- An NGB Level 2 coaching qualification or equivalent is essential
- A recognised Good Practice & Child Protection Certificate
- Current First Aid qualification
- To satisfactorily meet the requirements of an Enhanced DBS check
- Passionate about working with children, supporting a team
- Committed to achieving outstanding practice

Role Requirements:
- Plan, deliver and evaluate high quality sport specific coaching sessions & play activities across Nuneaton, Bedworth and surrounding areas
- Increase the number of young people participating in activities at before and after school and school holidays with potential progression onto delivering in targeted schools and communities
