Access times for Juniors
Juniors can access the gym anytime when accompanied by the named adult who attended the gym induction. The named adult for juniors 12 - 14 years must be a parent / guardian. The named adult for juniors 14 - 16 yrs must be aged 18+.

Terms & conditions for Junior Memberships

Junior Fitness membership is available for 12-16 year olds.

It costs just £15.99 a month, payable by direct debit on a rolling contract.

If you want to cancel your membership you need to give 30 days notice.

Pay as you go sessions are available at a concessionary rate of £3.50.

Junior Fitness members must be accompanied by a named adult.

Junior members can use the gym anytime during opening hours if accompanied by their named adult.

The named adult does not need to be a member of Empire Gym.

A gym induction must be completed prior to using the facilities and the named adult must accompany the junior.

Junior members are not permitted in the heavy weights area of the gym and should not use the ‘Jones’ machine or barbells.

Junior members may attend classes from the age of 14 years, excluding BodyPump, Kettlebells and GRIT. Please ask reception for advice on suitable classes, or alternatively email the Group Exercise Manager.

Personal belongings should be placed in the lockers available in the changing rooms (A locker token may be purchased from reception).

Junior members are expected to behave in an orderly fashion at all times – no alcohol, food or illegal substances can be consumed on the premises.

Junior membership may be refused or rescinded with good reason at any time.

Appropriate attire and footwear must be worn at all times.
