Curriculum Support & Early Intervention to avoid exclusion
Admission and Referrals
Nuneaton & Bedworth Leisure Trust (NBLT) is an alternative provision for students who are at risk of permanent exclusion or would benefit from 1-1 support outside of the mainstream school setting. We aim to support students to improve their own well-being, and attendance and build positive relationships.
We strive to create a supportive environment in which students can understand their own personal challenges and barriers to accessing education and empower them to find solutions to overcome these. ASDAN Short Courses are the perfect tool to support students attending provision with us as it allows them to choose from several different subjects with a choice of tasks so students can choose tasks that they will positively engage with, giving them a chance to have a say in their education and how they learn, while supported by a team of coaches and educators who will guide them to find solutions and challenge themselves further.
We hope that this environment will encourage all young people who attend our provision to become more socially aware of their behaviours and how it affects those around them and begin to make positive changes to develop this. We empower students to be mindful of their own thoughts and feelings and of those around them and work with them to better understand how to manage these to support their personal growth and development through a holistic and judgement-free approach.
All Students that attend Nuneaton & Bedworth Leisure Trust (NBLT) need to be referred to us by a school or the local Authority. If you feel that our provision would benefit your child, please contact us and we can speak to your child’s school to make arrangements to see if this is possible through the school referral process.
Once we received the paperwork needed, we make a prompt decision on how we can support the student through our provision. To ensure we are the best possible place for the student, we arrange a visit to show around the building and discuss all that we offer and deliver.
