Volunteer with NBLT
Volunteering is a great way to get involved with your community, make friends, and learn new skills.

We offer opportunities to young people to come on board and become sports volunteers. This is a great way to gain some practical experience to support their qualifications and to give them an advantage in the workplace. This is available through our coaching team, multi-use games area sessions in the community or holiday playscheme.

There are a number of volunteering opportunities are available within NBLT. For the majority of our placements you will work alongside our Youth, Community and Schools team to learn the skills you need to fulfil your potential. However, we are happy to take volunteers in other areas as and when we have the availability and capacity to offer these opportunities.

We would love to hear from you if you have skills and an interest in the following areas:
-
Fitness Instruction: With the support of our Active Recreation Officer there are a number of volunteer opportunities to deliver exercise classes and fitness instruction in the local community for people looking to get fit and healthy.
-
Sports Coaching: Our highly qualified sports coaches and coaching programme offers anyone interested in becoming a sports coach with the opportunity to do some voluntary coaching while being supervised by one of coaches. Whether you would like to volunteer at a specific session or you need a placement then we can support you.
-
Disability Sports Coaching: Would you like to get involved in coaching disabled people or do you have a disability and would like to find anywhere to volunteer in sport?
