COVID-19 Update

Dear Parents,

Yesterday evening (Tuesday 17th March) we received notice from Birmingham County FA that all grassroots football clubs, Attleborough Sports JFC included, must suspend football training and matches until further notice. From today we will not be running our Tuesday night football session until Attleborough are given the clear that we can resume. This also includes the match we had planned this coming weekend against Sky Blues in the Community. Due to the nature of how quickly guidance is changing at the moment we cannot offer a date for when football will resume but will keep you updated throughout.

At present we are following guidance from the educational sector in regards to the delivery of our Children in Need disability project and as such all sessions, other than football, are still open and taking place at present. As such can I remind you of the guidance that is being provided by the Government and Public Health England given below:

If you have symptoms of Coronavirus infection (COVID-19), however mild, stay at home and do not leave your house for 14 days from when your symptoms started.

If you have a new continuous cough or a high temperature, this is classed as above 37.8˚c.

As per the new guidance please do not send your child to any sessions if they have any of the above symptoms. If your child has developed a high temperature or persistent new cough this week please follow the above advice and keep them at home for the full 14 days.

If you your child develops a temperature at our session you will be asked to leave immediately.

Many thanks,
