Update 24th March 2020:
Little Monsters Playcare at Arden Forest Infant School & St James CofE Academy
It is with regret due to the current situation we will be postponing Little Monsters Playcare provision at Arden Forest Infant School & St James CofE Academy from 6pm this evening (Tuesday 24/03/2020)
We are hopeful to re-open provision after Easter on Monday 20th April 2020 following a 2 week period of employee self-isolation.
We have tried to maintain the provision as long as possible to support our community and key worker staff who are essential to the COVID-19 response effort but we are no longer able to continue this commitment in the short term.
Little Monsters Playscheme at Our Lady & St Joseph Academy:
We will open a centralised Playscheme venue at Our Lady & St Joseph Catholic Academy (following strict Government guidelines) for NHS or ‘critical workers’ only. Playscheme will not be an open setting and must only be used if essential.
To ensure places are for children of NHS or critical workers you must state occupation on booking and provide identification on arrival.
Playscheme availability may change as the guidance changes on a daily basis.
Disability Stay & Play:
Disability Stay & Play sessions due to take place at Higham Lane School are cancelled until further notice.
Disability Sports at Bulkington Village Centre will be cancelled until further notice.

NBLT Little Monsters will continue to support our community and key worker staff by providing before and after school childcare to parents/guardians who are essential to the COVID-19 response effort.
The Department for Education released the list of ‘Key Workers’ last night, at the moment we have received no further information from the Local Authority or Public Health England. As soon as we receive more information we will let you know.
Our Lady & St Joseph Catholic Academy:
We have been advised by Senior Leadership Team at Our Lady & St Joseph Catholic Academy, Key Workers have been contacted via text message, call or email and only those children will be able to attend NBLT provision to minimise the risk of spreading the virus.
Please can you let Robbie know as soon as possible if you meet the criteria linked above and your child/children will continue to attend Little Monsters. If you will require extra sessions please list them in your email. E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Easter Playscheme at Our Lady & St Joseph Catholic Academy:
NBLT will run the proposed Playscheme at Our Lady & St Joseph Catholic Academy for a maximum of 20 children, for children of ‘Key Workers’. Places can be booked online at www.nbleisuretrust.org and to ensure places are for children of Key Workers you must state occupation on booking and provide identification.
Bermuda Park Nursery: As I am sure you can imagine we have had a very uncertain and exceptionally busy day since yesterday’s government announcement.
The Department for Education has made it clear the nursery will close tomorrow Friday 20th March to all children except those on the ‘Key Worker’ list, or children who are deemed vulnerable. I am still waiting for clarification as to which roles will be on the ‘Key Worker’ list.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the parents who have emailed, rang or spoke to myself or staff in person, we are overwhelmed with your concerns for staff, your generosity and your exceptionally kind words.
The Nursery will charge the usual fees up to and including Friday 20th March. At this time no further fees will be charged to the children who are not on the above list. Thank you to the many parents who have offered to continue to pay their fees regardless of attendance, at present this will not be necessary. Any credit on your child’s account will automatically be taken off your balance when the nursery re opens to all.
You will still be able to access your child’s online tapestry journal, where you will be able to find lots of learning next steps that the staff have been working on with your children. Please feel free to upload photographs of your child at home, as we will miss seeing their faces.
The nursery will regularly update our closed Nursery Facebook page with lots of ideas and activities for you to do at home, however please do not feel pressured to do anything out of the ordinary with your child.
You may have already seen this post but I wanted to share it with you;
‘Arguing with your kids to do work is not what anyone needs right now. Instead, cuddle up together and read, read, read. Take turns reading. Read them your favourite novel (yes, you can read novels to small children). Do a puzzle, build a fort, bake, watch TV together, paint or get out the lego and build together. Set up a tent in your living room and camp out. Look at photos of when you were a kid. In other words…. Don’t stress about them forgetting, don’t stress about home schooling them. Just spend time together. Your kids won’t learn much if they are feeling stressed.
Although this is a scary time, it could very well be a time they remember as the best time in their life.
Take Care, stay safe and well, I hope to see you all again soon.
Rachel, Amanda & the Bermuda Park Team.
Update 19th March 2020:
Bulkington Playscheme for Easter: Please note: Due to COVID-19 and changing guidance from the Government, we have removed the booking link for Bulkington Playscheme whilst we seek clarification on whether the scheme can go ahead.
Bermuda Adventure Soft Play World: Please be advised we are asking every customer / visitor to the building: As per NHS guidelines has anyone in your group got:
a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
Has any member of your group returned from a destination outside of the UK and started to feel unwell or displayed any of the above symptoms?
If the answer is yes to any of these questions, I am afraid the group will not be allowed entry to Bermuda Adventure Soft Play World.
In addition to the above: Due to the Government guidance on social distancing, we have reduced the number of tables in our seating areas to maintain a significant distance between them.
We have been busy cleaning the playframe and will continue to double clean throughout each day, to ensure the areas are sanitised on a regular basis.
We are encouraging our staff to wash their hands every 15 minutes and we encourage all visitors to do the same, for 20 seconds with
hot water and soap.
If you have any concerns whilst in the Centre we ask you to speak to a member of the team. Thank you for your co-operation during this time. Bermuda Adventure Soft Play World.
Update 18th March 2020:

You will also be asked to clean your equipment down after use and bring your own mats where possible. Please click here for the up to date timetable.
Les Mills have released a number of classes for you to use at home, should you not be able to attend the gym or be unable to find a suitable class, click here to watch.
Sporting Touch also have a number of homework out equipment options click here for more info.
When entering the gym, please do not hand your card to reception or leave it in the box, please retain your card and show a member of the team, who will check you in on the system.
To help with social distancing we are creating more space for members, bearing in mind the 2 metre Government guideline, we will be creating space between the cardio machines, so you may find some of them switched off or moved to another area. Please bear with us whilst we set this up. Once it's all done, if you find there is a specific machine or piece of equipment you wish to use closed off, please let a member of the team know and we will do our best to make it available. To allow us to store the removed equipment, we will be closing the stretch area for the time being. There will be alternative stretch spaces available again where possible, please bring your own mats. If you wish to use the boxing bag, please bring your own gloves.
