Walk or Run For Your Heart

2012 is a huge year for sport and to celebrate Nuneaton and Bedworth is to host its own sporting challenge at the Pingles Leisure Centre.
The '5k Walk/Run for Your Heart' takes place on Wednesday, April 18th - officially 100 days before one of the greatest sporting shows on earth comes to our shores.
The cost is £5 per entrant if you register before April 12 or £7 if paying on the day. Why not get your family and friends to sponsor you and raise even more money for this good cause?
- Certificates for all finishers
- Refreshments available
- 5km Walk or Run (the route will mainly be on footpaths)
For families with little ones, and children under 11, we have:
Parent and Toddler (2pm):
Parents can push toddlers or walk/jog with them around the athletics track. Cost £1
Junior Jog (6pm):
For under 11s - one mile around the athletics track. Cost £1
For all events please arrive at least 15 minutes early to warm up.
The events are supported by the Council, Nuneaton and Bedworth Leisure Trust and the Nuneaton Harriers Club with all proceeds to be donated to the British Heart Foundation.
Nuneaton and Bedworth is an official 'Heart Town' and is committed to promoting heart health in the local community.
